“The corn is as high as an elephant’s eye.”
But they don’t get many elephants in Oklahoma, do they? They must use some kind of life-size cardboard cut-out for measurement purposes.
Perhaps it’s a photo of an elephant rolling a tree. They could stick it to the side of each combine harvester. Imagine it seen from the road — a giant row of elephants majestically rolling their way across the prairies.
